Placing & moving

Place

Drag a thumbnail onto the plan. On a touch screen: tap the thumbnail, then tap the plan.

Move

Drag it by the centimetre. Its back sticks to a wall it nears, and it lines up with other furniture; Alt frees it of every magnet. Stuck to a wall by accident? Pull it away from the wall and it turns back the way it was.

Rotate

The handle above the selection (Shift = 15° steps), or Rotate 90°.

Rename / duplicate

Double-click the name, on the plan, in the room card or in the rail, to rename it. Duplicate (or Ctrl+D) copies the selection.

Walls

Draw

W (or the Wall button) arms it: click to start, click to place, it chains into the next segment. Digits then Enter place an exact length.

Magnets

Points snap to corners and existing walls, else to 0°, 45°, 90°. Shift keeps the two axes, Alt cuts every magnet.

Select

Click a wall: it gets its own card, and a disc, one handle per free end, plus × Delete, + Split and (on a crooked wall) an equerre to square it up appear on the wall itself.

Move

Pull a wall: the two rooms adjust together. A wall goes from one point to the other and stays there; an end that touches another wall follows it.

Length

On the wall's own card, type the exact length: it stretches the free end. A wall held at both ends has no end to give, and the field says so.

Doors & windows

Place

Drag one from the palette onto a wall: it orients itself and slides along it.

Turn

Rotate 90° flips the hinge or the leaf's swing; Flip side (or R) puts it on the other face.

Inspector

Sets width, depth, and the distance from the corner.

How it opens

A window's Opens buttons choose None, Single, or Double.

Projector

Throw ratio

From the spec sheet. The distance is not typed: it comes from where the device sits.

Aimed at

Pairs it with a projection screen; the beam then measures to that screen.

Mounting

Table, Ceiling or Short throw only prefill the two fields below.

Lens height

Height of the lens above the floor.

Offset

Where the image sits relative to the lens, in % of its height. Negative points down, above +100 puts the whole image over the lens.

Bottom edge

On the screen: height of its lower edge above the floor.

Format

On the screen: 16:9, 16:10 or 2.35:1. It decides the image height.

View

Zoom / pan

The wheel (or a pinch) zooms around the cursor; Space+drag, the right button, or two fingers pan.

Fit

Reframes on the whole flat.

Layers

The Furniture / Lighting / Sockets boxes show or hide each family.

Circulation

Shades the walkable floor and flags an overlap left in the way.

Lighting

The layer

The Circulation panel's Light box paints how lit each room is: warm where it reaches its target, dark and hatched below half of it.

Day / Night

Night counts the fixtures only. Day adds the windows, 2 000 lm per metre of opening.

Flux

A fixture radiates its type's default (ceiling light 1 500 lm, wall light 400, floor lamp 900). The inspector's Luminous flux field replaces it, and clearing the field puts the default back.

Target

Read off the room's name (kitchen 300 lx, office 500, bathroom 200, bedroom 100, corridor 100, otherwise 150). The room's own Light target field wins over the name.

What it says

A wall stops the light: a room is lit by its own fixtures, never by its neighbour's. Furniture casts no shadow here.

Cursors

The other person's cursor and selection show up live.

Chat

The 💬 button, to talk inside the plan.

Sync

Changes are shared automatically; the status chip in the bar says so.
